Speedy Updates

Hello my long lost friends!! I have pretty much zero time to write this blog post which is quite unfortunate because I have so many amazing and wonderful things to tell ya'll about and I really want to glorify God by sharing them, however I am required to go to bed in 15 minutes so it looks like I will have to make one super de duper long post next weekend!! Here are a few speedy updates:
1. I have fallen in love with western Michigan!! It is so beautiful and yes it is extremely reformed and conservative but I am absolutely loving the beauty here.
2. The staff here is PHENOMENAL. I have no idea how they do it but every single person, whether lifeguard, kitchen staff, counselor, arts/crafts, etc. are all incredible human beings that have beautiful stories. I cannot be more appreciative for the amazing colleagues I have here to support and love on me this summer.
3. I now have verizon as I quickly found out t-mobile is pretty much not existent out here. Same number and all but I can only talk on weekends so keep that in mind!
4. Last week was my first week with campers and I loved it (more on that next weekend). However I became very intimidated and frustrated this weekend knowing I have to do last week 8 more times this summer before I can be around anything familiar again. Don't get me wrong, I loved it and had such a blast but it took so much out of me and it's really intimidating to look all the way to the end of the summer and see how much more I have to go.
5. The power of prayer is HUGE and I have definitely taken that for granted before coming here to Geneva. Please please please don't take this lightly...pray with me as I am praying right alongside you :)
6. I have pretty much zero connection to the outside world and I truly want to know what is going on in your lives because that is what keeps me going. I HIGHLY encourage you to email me as that is the only mode of communication I have over the week other than snail mail. The link is below...please do it, I promise it'll make me the happiest girl ever :) http://www.campgeneva.org/HTML/emailstaff.html
7. I love you and miss each one of you! I am struggling with the lack of communication I get to connect with all of my close friends/family yet I know this is where God has me for the summer and I couldn't be more happy to follow the wonderful plan he has for me.

Have a fantastic week and I promise a long post with details next weekend :)
Adios!!
Psalm 91-a great one :)
